11/12/16: Multidisciplinary PhD position in business policy & law of marine biotech

Streamlining the legal, policy and governance aspects & Innovation management and entrepreneurship of marine biodiscovery pipeline


eCOAST is part of a group of 11 European research organizations that recently started the MarPipe project, a Marie Curie training network.

 

MarPipe aims to discover and further develop lead compounds with anticancer and anti-infective activity that has already been identified by the consortium from extremophilic marine microorganisms.

 

In this project, 11 PhD students will study different aspects of the marine biodiscovery pipeline. eCOAST is looking to recruit a PhD student that will work on the legal aspects and innovation and entrepreneurship in marine biodiscovery. This cross-cutting and challenging research project will be co-supervised by Ghent University.
